Château de Scandaillac, in Saint-Eutrope-de-Born, is ideally located in the heart of Périgord, a region renowned for its cultural, gastronomic, sporting and leisure attractions.

Nearby, discover medieval bastides such as Villeréal, Monflanquin and Castillonnès, or venture a little further afield to visit Monpazier, Bergerac, the famous Lascaux caves and Rocamadour.

The region also offers a wide range of sporting activities, including kayaking on the Dordogne and Lot rivers, accrobranche (tree climbing), and water parks. Golf enthusiasts will find plenty to do 15km away at the Villeneuve-sur-Lot golf club.

During the summer months, you won’t want to miss the local markets and medieval festivals that liven up the surrounding towns and villages. With cities such as Bordeaux and Toulouse just 1h30 away, and Bergerac-Dordogne-Périgord airport 36 km away, the château is the perfect base from which to explore this region.
